ABOUT THE SHOW: e.V.'s Underground focuses on 3 main genres of music: metal, gothish subgenres, and hard rock. We also look for BRILLIANT singer-songwriter stuff. While we do play other genres from time to time please do NOT send us hip-hop, rap, dance, country, bar band, cover band, nor middle of the road anything!
Does your music move OTHER people? Have you heard from strangers that your music is good?? We look for amazing music for our listeners, artists who have "it", where "it" is the ability to move other people, for songs that touch OTHER PEOPLES souls. Your song may be from the bottom of *your* soul but that doesn't mean it moves anyone else's!. ;-)
We've a heart-on for doom metal, goth metal, folk metal & stoner metal, as well as moody goth inflected sounds, and kickass songwriting, preferably heavy on the melody, vocals and/or groove. We also play a fair bit of atmospheric black metal and melodeath.
With an album feature every week we are always looking for great artists to share with listeners. Do you have an album being released? Drop us a note! Your album MIGHT be what we are looking for to share with listeners!!
TRACK SUBMISSION RULES
Everyone has inspiration but you must sound like YOURSELF. Radio is not the place for coverbands and bar bands. Not this show, anyways!
1. We are an FM station so broadcast quality tracks only. i.e. minimum of 320kps. We can also play .wav &.flac & .aicc & .ogg Or submit a link to your bandcamp site if you have one.
2. Send only your very best. (If you are unsure, the best ones are typically the ones that have the highest listener count on reverbnation or soundcloud, or the ones your fans go the most apeshit over. When in doubt, ask neutral 3rd party (not your mom or bandmates).
3. Submit no more than 3 songs. That's all: a MAXIMUM of 3 tracks.
