Dearest Fellow Creatures of the Night
After 7 years of haunting the airwaves for you in the 'dead of night' 2-7am graveyard slot on CKCU-FM, e.V., Queen of Doom is going on a much-needed spiritual retreat to The Crypt. We are very sorry to have to put e.V.'s Underground on hiatus at this time, as we want to be there for you, to share awesome indie and underground music with you, as you guys are the best \w/ - but sadly 't'is not in the cards at this time. *However*, we have not given up the ghost, so to speak... so do not forget us! When a suitable slot opens, we intend to return with a slightly new format - our crystal ball informs us the show is destined to be almost surely be shorter - likely between 2 & 3 hours, rather than the 5 hour sonic marathon it has been. We are looking also at possibly moving the show to an internet station, but it whichever it will be, it will not happen overnight... Gazing into Ye Olde Castle Doom and Gloom Crystal Ball it appears 't'will likely be sometime in the first half of 2016, possibly later - so stay tuned for further developments! You can always drop us mail. Also there will be internmittant :) posts here on the music blog.
Also we want you to know that one of us, the show producer @Aqualyra has been hard at work co-producing... a maxi-single from the first one is being mastered even now! Go to her Facebook page for info. and maybe listen to some of her music over on Reverbnation, where her spooky music was 3rd on the Reverb Folk charts for all of Canada, at least t is as we type this!
Thank you so much for all your support of the show and for being part of this wild radio ride for the past 7 years! Big big thanks especially to Our Dearest Lady Death who, for 6 years, did a bang-up job programming and producing our 3rd hour album feature! Here's to more music in the somewhat foggy future.
