Do you know how many bands are out there? Me neither.. Waaaay too many with little talent, it often seems.  In fact, I would say that most bands should simply give it up.   But hereabouts we like to play the true artists - the ones that kick serious ass..

LISTEN TO THIS WEEK'S SHOW!!

The Show Playlist

So this week we have 2 very cool bands for you. First up is the Finnish Melodic death/folk metal band Frosttide's album 'Awakening', in Hour 1..  Joni and the rest of you - you seriously rock! \w/ Perkele! Ihana!

In Hour 2 you will hear a bunch of Within Temptation plus we also feature A Light In The Sky, the new album from Roanoke, Virgina alt-rock/metallers, Madrone . You can hear half of this excellent album in hour 2 and almost all the rest (minus the last track) in Hour 5.   Our playlist may kick serious ass e.V.'s memory, not so much...  So many band names, so little time...  MaDrone, not Marone & so no damn wonder I couldn't find it!  Apologies and big thanks to the bands for making such shockingly great music. :-) Rock on!

In Hour 3, our dearest Lady Death send some beautiful acoustic tuneage for you on this, your end of St. Patrick's Day show, 2014.  She selected these from the soundtrack of the new period drama TV series 'REIGN'.

The Sepiachord Band Of The Week is Scott Bradlee's brilliant cover band Postmodern JukeBox, who gleefully stand mainstream rock and pop standards on their head via genius arrangements. This week's Helsinki Spotlight Artists are Cherry and the Night, who I first heard of because of Hard Rock Cafe.'s Hard Rock Rising Global Battle Of The Bands.  The ReverbNation Artist of the Week is rocker & singer-songwriter Hannu Lepisto, who has a new single out "Abuse Me To Soothe Me" available on Bandcamp - with 2 bonus tracks - you can hear one of those. bonus tracks plus the single itself on this week's show.

Do you know a kickass band with that special something that just connects with your soul, who have a radio worthy track or 2? Let us know!  Perhaps you in such a band.  One that other people say is great. People not in your band, family, and friends nor those who want to drag you off to a secluded corner. . Excellent!!
